Merry Christmas everyone. If Christmas can't stop me from doing this I don't know what can. It's not Christmas music because I've blessed everyone with a pretty fire Christmas Jams playlist already. Just regular ole fire flames tunes for you to enjoy.
One week until Christmas. Gotta love it. Not a lot of good new music but Chris Brown's new album is out. It's too bad he beat the shit outta Rihanna cause otherwise I'd love that guy. Never made a bad song I'm pretty sure. But anyway, a lot of classics lead the way this week. Enjoy.
Just like every other year, it's been a great year for music with tons of bangers coming at us from all corners so I tried to compile a list of my favorites. Leave a comment on what you think I left out or tell me how awful my choice in music is.
We start it off with Sammy Adam's new single "Remember" which is straight fire on the track, he finally released a good song again. Then we got 'Love Yourself' by the one and only J.Biebs, listen I used to hate Bieber more than anyone but his new album "Purpose" is incredible, god damn incredible. We've got some new ZBB on there, if you have ever read Top Cheddar before you know Zac is my boy. Tons of other great songs littered in there, some Kanye, Mike Posner (throwback), Grace Potter who's new album is nuts good. We've got it all for you, so give this playlist a spin.
Top 4 Albums of 2015:
4. Professional Rapper- Lil Dicky
Absolutely great record from Lil D. I still listen to it on a regular basis. It's a rap album for white guys and it crushes. Some hilarious tracks, some tracks that will tug at the heart strings. Lil D has got it all.
3. Purpose- Justin Bieber
I'm sure none of you saw this coming, maybe you did, i don't care either way. Purpose is an incredible album. We watched Bieber turn from a boy to a man and this album is stuffed to the brim with great tracks, I'm pretty sure 'Love Yourself' is my favorite song of 2015...
2. Jekyll and Hyde- Zac Brown Band
LOVED the new ZBB album. I'm a HUGE ZBB guy so I had to throw it in here, it was a great album for the first few months but my biggest problem with it is that I don't think it has longevity. In 20 years I don't think people will be talking about this record. I loved it and still jam to it frequently but it just doesn't hold that kinda weight in my opinion. 'Homegrown' was also heavily overplayed on the radio. Anyways, great work from ZBB.
1. Coming Home- Leon Bridges
Finally, my number 1. This record was absolutely incredible. I love every single track on it so it was hard to just pick a few for the playlist. I saw Leon this summer in San Francisco and his live show was great as well, for me hearing the songs live is what made them even better.
Derrick Henry is the lucky guy that got to win the Heisman this season. I was all in for Deshaun to take it home, but I guess it wouldn't be fair for him to win the Heisman and the Natty Ship. Henry had an incredible season and there is no arguing with that. Congratulations to Derrick.
Obviously I'm a little later than usual with this but that's because I had a final exam tonight and was studying today. But this is a great weekend. I'm done with finals, I'm going home for break, we got Clemson men's soccer winning tonight and advancing to the national championship Sunday, we got Deshaun in NYC for the Heisman ceremony (he better win) and of course we got Fire Jam Friday. It's a good one this week folks, so enjoy.

I've been saying it all season. Deshaun Watson is the best player in college football. He's an underdog to win the Heisman, but honestly there's no reason Derrick Henry or Christian McCaffrey should win this award even though they've had record breaking seasons. Deshaun is the best player on the best team in the country and without him Clemson would probably be like 8-4. Instead they're 13-0 and heading to the playoffs as the #1 seed. Deshaun is the only player in the country with 3500 passing yards and 800 rushing yards. He's got 41 total TDs. That's okay, I guess. And guess what? He's the best quarterback in the country. Wanna know what position matters more than any other in football? Quarterback.
Derrick Henry is very good obviously. I've given him credit for his great season every week. But also, he touches the ball more than every running back in the country. And I'm sure any back up running back Bama has could run for similar numbers with the same amount of carries. He always gets off to slow starts, but Bama has the lead anyway, so then they run it with Henry literally the rest of the game and he has no choice but to accumulate yards. Getting 336 carries in a season shouldn't automatically make you the Heisman winner. Wayne Gallman coulda put up these numbers if he got 110 more carries. Shit.
Christian McCaffrey is a great player as well. He broke Barry Sanders' record for most all purpose yards in a season. That's crazy. But also, Stanford lost TWO games and he didn't have great games in either. He also has 12 touchdowns rushing and receiving combined. And a third of those came in one game. Deshaun has 11 rushing touchdowns which is more than this chump has. Enough said there.
The bottom line is that Deshaun Watson is the most complete player in the country playing the most important position in football, and led his team to an undefeated season. He steps up in big games when his team needs him most, whether it's with his arm or his legs or both. Simply put, he's the best player in the country.
It was championship week in college football, and it did not disappoint. Some great finishes, some great performances from Heisman candidates, and no doubt left who the four playoff teams are.
1. Clemson Tigers (vs. #10 North Carolina, W 45-37): Stupidity held Clemson back in the first half, as they had 8 penalties including 2 personal fouls on TJ Green leading to his ejection, which did not help the Tigers at all going forward. Also, punter Andy Teasdall went rogue and called a fake punt himself on 4th and 15 which didn't go well. BUT, the offense turned it on late in the half to get the lead back. And then they never looked back. UNC got lucky with field position and that's really the only reason they scored so much. Because the Clemson defense did a really nice job against their high powered offense. Also, you really can't say enough about Deshaun Watson. If Wayne Gallman didn't get scorching hot in the second half (170 of his 187 rushing yards were in the second half) then Deshaun might have had 400 passing yards and 200 rushing yards. He finished with 289 and 131, respectively and 5 total TDs. In my mind, he has to win the Heisman.
2. Alabama Crimson Tide (vs. #18 Florida, W 29-15): Derrick Henry is really good, no doubt. But he's had 90 carries over his last 2 games. One would hope he could put up big numbers with that amount of carries. He averaged 4.4 yards per carry this past Saturday. That's not that great. Alabama is very beatable. I mean, imagine if Florida had an offense? That game could have gone a lot differently. Sidenote: how many years is Nick Saban taking off of Henry's NFL career by running him over 40 times a game?
3. Oklahoma Sooners: BYE
4. Iowa Hawkeyes (vs. #5 Michigan State, L 16-13): This was a classic Big 10 game, which is probably exactly what Iowa wanted. But they died a long, slow death on Michigan State's 9 minute, 22 play drive that ended with a TD with 27 seconds left. That is one of the worst ways to lose a football game I've ever seen.
5. Michigan State Spartans (vs. #4 Iowa, W 16-13): How Connor Cook won the MVP of this game is beyond me. Dude sucked the entire game. LJ Scott was the one who scored their only touchdown, which was the game winner. And then Cook with the cocky grab of the MVP trophy.
6. Ohio State Buckeyes: BYE
7. Stanford Cardinal (vs. #20 USC, W 41-22): Christian McCaffrey had a pretty nice game, as he broke the single season record for most all purpose yards, passing Barry Sanders. Other than that though, screw Stanford.
8. Notre Dame Fighting Irish: BYE
9. Florida State Seminoles: BYE
10. North Carolina Tar Heels (vs. #1 Clemson, L 45-37): Good try UNC. But one ref realizing a guy's head was over the line didn't lose that game for ya. At least you have basketball season.

12 Baylor Bears (vs. Texas, L 23-17): LOL
13. Ole Miss Rebels: BYE
14. Northwestern Wildcats: BYE

18. Florida Gators (vs. #2 Alabama, L 29-15): Florida's defense is really good. But their offense doesn't belong on a college football field.
19. Houston Cougars (vs. #22 Temple, W 24-13): Great season for Houston ends with the AAC title and earning a big bowl game against FSU.
20. USC Trojans (vs. #7 Stanford, L 41-22): Didn't even know USC was playing in the Pac 12 title game until it was going on.

22. Temple Owls (vs. #19 Houston, L 24-13): Good season for Temple. Just came up short though.
So this happened on Saturday night when the B's were up in Vancouver. This happened with 1:53 left in the game while the Canucks were down 4-0.... Anyone that knows anything about the NHL knows that Brandon Prust is an absolute scum bag, never been a good guy. Listen, who knows what Marchand was chirping out on the ice, he loves to get under guys' skin but this is fucked up. No place in hockey for it. Now I know everyone is gonna go "oh what about Lucic when he did that to Dekeyser in the play offs?"
Well that was equally as fucked up, Prust and Lucic were both fined 5k for cup checking. I think that these kind of plays deserve suspensions, just a game is better than nothing in my opinion. This move serves absolutely no purpose other than proving that you're a scum bag. In my opinion, the worst part of the whole Prust doing this to Marchand part is what Prust had to say after the fact...
It's not hard to tell that the $5,000 fine didn't rattle Prust too much, if the NHL wants to get this move out of the game, they may want to change the consequence. I hate Prust so god damn much, anyone that has ever been hit in the balls know how much it always hurts, doesn't matter how hard it is so him saying "it wasn't that hard" is just a bold face lie. Hey Brandon Prust, kick rocks you plug.
A decent bounce back week for new music, as we got some new Sammy Adams, Flo Rida, and a good amount of electronic stuff. Threw some classic Coldplay on here as well in honor of them getting announced as the Super Bowl performer in February. It was Rivalry Week in college football, and it was another solid weekend of games. Hope all four readers had a great Thanksgiving, and I hope everyone else did as well.
1. Clemson Tigers (@ South Carolina, W 37-32): A little closer than I would have liked. I don't really get why we can't hold on to the football but whatever. Deshaun is a god damn baller and is so fun to watch. "If we ever win the turnover battle, we're gonna kill somebody" might be Dabo's best quote of the year and he's had some great ones. The Tigers have the ACC Championship coming up against UNC as they look to guarantee a spot in the playoffs.
2. Alabama Crimson Tide (@ Auburn, W 29-13): So Derrick Henry is really good. But also, you better run for a billion yards when you get the ball handed to you 46 times. A lot of people are just handing Henry the Heisman now, but I think it's gonna be pretty close between he and Deshaun.
3. Oklahoma Sooners (@ #11 Oklahoma State, W 58-23): OU took home the conference title with the blow out win over in state rival OK State. They're looking really good at the end of the season and since the Big 12 doesn't have a championship game, they've pretty much secured a playoff spot. Baker Mayfield will most likely be in New York as a Heisman finalist as well. He's really good.
4. Iowa Hawkeyes (@ Nebraska, W 28-20): Are you sitting down? Because I'm about to say something shocking. I actually watched most of this game. And Iowa's defense is pretty legit. Their running game is pretty solid, and they just keep finding a way to get the job done. Like Clemson, Iowa could care less about how perfect their victories are. They're undefeated, and that's pretty awesome.
5. Michigan State Spartans (vs. Penn State, W 55-16): So MSU followed up their big win over Ohio State with a blow out victory over Penn State. They locked up a spot in the Big 10 title game against undefeated Iowa.
6. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (@ #9 Stanford, L 38-36): A real tough game for the Irish. They scored to go up by 1 with 30 seconds left. And then they give up a field goal as time expires. I don't know how they let Stanford get down the field so easily but it happened and they lost. Sucks.
7. Baylor Bears (@ #19 TCU, L 28-21 2OT): It was POURING on Friday night at TCU. Both teams put up 14 points pretty quickly and then the score didn't change until overtime because it was so sloppy. But Baylor is back to being the fraud team of the year. Congrats!
8. Ohio State Buckeyes (@ #10 Michigan, W 42-13): Well it's safe to say OSU bounced back pretty nicely. They just absolutely crushed their rivals at the Big House. And Ezekiel Elliot had a solid game after his bitchy comments after the game last week.
9. Stanford Cardinal (vs. #6 Notre Dame, W 38-36): Big win for the Cardinal. If all hell breaks loose in the conference championship games then they MIGHT have a shot at the playoffs. But it's still pretty doubtful.
10. Michigan Wolverines (vs. #8 Ohio State, L 42-13): Not a great showing from the Wolverines on Saturday. They had a chance to make a statement, but noooope. Got blown out at home instead.
11. Oklahoma State Cowboys (vs. #3 Oklahoma, W 58-23): Oklahoma is just a better football team, but OK State definitely just crumbled these last two weeks. Had an opportunity to win their conference at home against their rival and they just folded like a pancake.
12. Florida Gators (vs. #13 Florida State, L 27-2): I don't know if anything in football is funnier than a team scoring 2 points. Like how were you good enough to force a safety when you're playing such an awful game? Two damn points. Laugh out loud funny for a team ranked 12th in the country and headed to the SEC Championship game. Alabama might play their third string and save their starters for the playoffs. Goodness.
13. Florida State Seminoles (@ #12 Florida, W 27-2): Florida's offense is horrendous. But you gotta give some props to FSU's defense for holding them to zero points. And Dalvin Cook is really good.
14. North Carolina Tar Heels (@ NC State, W 45-34): UNC finished undefeated in conference play and a dreadful loss to South Carolina to open the season is the only thing keeping them from rolling into the ACC Championship unblemished just like Clemson. Should be a great game Saturday.
15. Navy Midshipmen (@ Houston, L 52-31): Navy got absolutely roasted by Houston. Sucks for them.
16. Northwestern Wildcats (@ Illinois, W 24-14): A solid 10 win season for the Cats. That's about as good as you can be if you're Northwestern.
17. Oregon Ducks (vs. Oregon State, W 52-42): What an electric game this was. Just so much speed everywhere. Back and forth scoring. For a game that was supposed to be a blowout, the Civil War definitely provided some excitement on Friday afternoon.
18. Ole Miss Rebels (@ #21 Mississippi State, W 38-27): How bout Swag Kelly passing Eli Manning for most passing yards in a season at Ole Miss. Gotta love it. And SCREW the SEC for not having a YouTube page like every other conference where game highlights are easy to find. Sorry guys, no good highlight package of the Egg Bowl, where both teams are ranked. Gonna have to go find it on your own.
19. TCU Horned Frogs (vs. #7 Baylor, W 28-21 2OT): The Frogs got their star quarterback back and they got back into the win column.
20. Washington State Cougars (@ Washington, L 45-10): Wait why was Washington State ranked?
21. Mississippi State Bulldogs (vs. #18 Ole Miss, L 38-27): Dak Prescott had another great season but there's just not enough around him to win these kinda games.
22. UCLA Bruins (@ USC, L 40-21): Roller coaster season to say the least for the Bruins. Should be a little more consistent next year though.
23. Utah Utes (vs. Colorado, W 20-14): Cool win Utah.
24. Toledo Rockets (vs. Western Michigan, L 35-30): Jeez. Embarrassing Toledo. Can't be a consistent top 25 and lose to Western Michigan. Goodness.
25. Temple Owls (vs. UConn, W 27-3): There's the UConn we all know and love!
Rivalry Week is in the books. The top four teams all went on the road to play rivals and survived. Can't hate it. See you cats back next week to round up Championship Week. And a meaningless Baylor vs Texas game!
Another fantastic week of college football. I attended my last game as a student in the best place on earth so it was a little bittersweet. Not being able to spend 6 or 7 Saturdays every fall in Death Valley might be the toughest part of having to move on to the real world. But anyway, let's get the roundup rolling.
1. Clemson Tigers (vs. Wake Forest, W 33-13): The Tiger defense was back to being spectacular on Saturday, but Wake Forest sucks so we'll have to keep up the intensity the next two weeks. Deshaun made a couple bad throws that resulted in interceptions but he put up big numbers yet again. The turnovers as a whole are a little concerning, especially when it comes to punt returns. We have yet to find a guy who can stand back there and just call a fair catch and actually catch the ball. It bothers me quite a bit that every guy we have return punts has muffed at least one punt. But whatever. We're 11-0, number 1 in the country, and get to play the horrendous 3-8 chickens this coming Saturday. Can't wait to hang up 50 on those losers.
2. Alabama Crimson Tide (vs. Charleston Southern, W 56-6): Just a nice FCS warm up for the Iron Bowl. Also, thanks to every other SEC team sucking, I don't think any win on Bama's resume actually looks that great.
3. Ohio State Buckeyes (vs. #9 Michigan State, L 17-14): The two offenses in this game were absolutely pathetic. Something tells me the Bucks should probably have run Ezekiel Elliot more than twice in the second half, but that's just me. Either way, OSU hasn't been that great this year despite their previously undefeated record. And now they finally lost. They better watch out for Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines this week too.
4. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (vs. Boston College, W 19-16): This was a home game for the Irish even though it was played in Fenway Park. It was more than satisfying to see both end zones painted for Notre Dame when the game was played in Boston against Boston College. Fenway Park SUCKS. As far as the actual game went, it was pretty boring.
5. Iowa Hawkeyes (vs. Purdue, W 40-20): Psst. I still haven't watched a single game Iowa has played in this year.
6. Oklahoma State (vs. #10 Baylor, L 45-35): And just like that OK State's undefeated season ends at home to a team on their third string quarterback. They still have a chance to win the Big 12 though because they play Oklahoma this week, and Baylor and TCU play each other. And winning the Big 12 would give them a solid shot at the playoffs.
7. Oklahoma Sooners (vs. #18 TCU, W 30-29): Baker Mayfield left the game with a concussion so I'm sure that's OU's biggest concern right now. They're lucky they didn't have to keep playing into OT with Trevor Knight though since TCU decided to go for 2 and win with 50 seconds left instead of just tying the game. So dumb.
8. Florida Gators (vs. Florida Atlantic, W 20-14 OT): Pretty unreal that UF got taken to OT by FAU. But that just shows the overall strength of the SEC. Oh wait, FAU isn't in the SEC? They're an FCS team? Well shit, there goes that.
9. Michigan State Spartans (@ #3 Ohio State, W 17-14): I still don't understand how Michigan State won this game without Connor Cook. Their defense finally showed up, but still. It's not like MSU crushed OSU's defense. Just a really strange game that Sparty came out on top of.
10. Baylor Bears (@ #6 Oklahoma State, W 45-35): And I still don't understand how Baylor won this game with their third string QB. I owe somewhat of an apology to Baylor after crushing them all year as a fraud team. But whatever. They'll probably lose this week to TCU because they are frauds. Or to Texas the week after.
11. Stanford Cardinal (vs. Cal, W 35-22): Whatever Stanford. Go home, your season's done.
12. Michigan Wolverines (@ Penn State, W 28-16): I don't have anything to say about this game, but let's see if Michigan can finally beat Ohio State this week.
13. Utah Utes (vs. UCLA, L 17-9): Nice offense Utah. What a collapse by them the last few weeks.
14. Florida State Seminoles (vs. Chattanooga, W 52-13): Pretty sure FSU should be favorites over Florida. Just because they can beat the FCS teams they play without getting forced to OT.
15. LSU Tigers (@ #22 Ole Miss, L 38-17): God, LSU sucks. Bama's win over them shouldn't even matter anymore.
16. Navy Midshipmen (@ Tulsa, W 44-21): It's crazy how quickly Navy became the best team in the American conference. Pretty much came out of nowhere.
17. North Carolina Tar Heels (@ Virginia Tech, W 30-27 OT): Oh look, UNC isn't that great after all. Can't wait to crush them in the ACC title game.
18. TCU Horned Frogs (@ #7 Oklahoma, L 30-29): I would have understood going for 2 to win instead of just going into OT if TCU had nothing to play for. But before they lost, they still had a shot at the Big 12 title and the playoffs. Just a really weird move.
19. Houston Cougars (@ UConn, L 20-17): Down goes Houston! Love that UConn was the team to end their perfect season. Gotta love it.
20. Northwestern Wildcats (@ #25 Wisconsin, W 13-7): Northwestern absolutely has the most boring games of any top 25 team week in and week out.
21. Memphis Tigers (@ Temple, L 31-12): Oh look at that, Memphis actually sucks?! Who woulda thought?
22. Ole Miss Rebels (vs. #15 LSU, W 38-17): Ole Miss has had a pretty up and down season, but they could actually still win the SEC West if Auburn upsets Alabama this week. That would be spectacular. I hope all hell breaks loose in the shitty SEC.
23. Oregon Ducks (vs. #24 USC, W 48-28): Oh, welcome back Oregon. So nice to see you again.
24. USC Trojans (@ #23 Oregon, L 48-28): Welcome back as well USC.......aaaaaand goodbye.

Adele's new album isn't on Spotify for God knows what reason, so it's a pretty weak selection of new music this week. But lucky for all 14 readers/listeners, your boy knows how to put together a playlist. A lot of classics this week to fuel this Fire Jam Friday.
Another awesome weekend of college football. A lot of upsets this week as we saw an entire conference's playoff hopes shatter, and a team that's all too familiar with crazy finishes part of another one. Let's go.
1. Clemson Tigers (@ Syracuse, W 37-27): I blame the fact that Syracuse even had a prayer against us on Kelly Bryant taking the snap on the first play of the third offensive series and fumbling the ball. Clemson was up 14-0 about 3 minutes into the game and got the ball back, and instead of sending Deshaun out to get another scoring drive started, we send out Kelly Bryant to run a QB draw and he fumbled. Now I think he was already down but there wasn't a good enough angle to challenge it. And Kelly Bryant will probably end up being a great quarterback but just let Deshaun do his thing man. He's an unreal football player and he proved it again Saturday. Let him ball out until it's a blow out in the 4th quarter and it's not worth still having him in there. Penalties killed us all day this week, and the defense looked pitiful against the run which was surprising considering we shut down Georgia Tech's option but couldn't do it against friggin Syracuse. But whatever, 10-0 and still in the driver's seat. Let's go.
2. Alabama Crimson Tide (@ #17 Mississippi State, W 31-6): Derrick Henry is probably at the top of the Heisman race right now with Deshaun close behind. He's a tremendous running back with the power to plow through people and the speed needed to break away once he reaches the second level. He's truly fun to watch.
3. Ohio State Buckeyes (@ Illinois, W 28-3): Nothing really to say about this game other than the fact that OSU keeps winning as they go back to JT Barrett at QB.
4. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (vs. Wake Forest, W 28-7): Not dominant, but Josh Adams had a 98 yard TD run so that was pretty cool.
5. Iowa Hawkeyes (vs. Minnesota, W 40-35): Sorry but I still haven't seen this team play. Do they even play on national television?? 10-0 though, Hawks keep rolling.
6. Baylor Bears (vs. #12 Oklahoma, L 44-34): I hate to say I told you so, buuuut I told you so. Baylor is a fraud team. And I got people chirping me saying their QB is out for the season and all that jazz. The point of Baylor's offense is that anyone can run it and win with it. But guess what, it's only designed to beat the shitty teams on Baylor's schedule. Because the back up QB came in and threw for 400 yards last week and won, but this week they played someone good and he didn't get the job done. Baylor is a fraud team. I've said it all year. And I'd be shocked if they beat TCU or OK State. The fat guy touchdown was awesome though. See it in the highlights.
7. Stanford Cardinal (vs. Oregon, L 38-36): Part 1 of the Pac 12 losing its chances of having a team in the playoffs. This was actually one of the best games of the weekend, as Oregon is hitting their stride just in time to crush Stanford's hopes and dreams.
8. Oklahoma State Cowboys (@ Iowa State, W 35-31): The Cowboys survived and stayed undefeated with a furious comeback against a terrible Iowa State team. But hey a win is a win.
9. LSU Tigers (vs. Arkansas, L 31-14): How bout LSU's tight end calling their fans the "worst fans ever" after they left early. Hey bro, maybe if you want fans to stay you shouldn't get blown out by an unranked team, and just mail it in for the season just because you lost one game to Alabama the week before. Losers.
10. Utah Utes (@ Arizona, L 37-30 2OT): And here's part 2 of the Pac 12 losing its chances of having a team in the playoffs. Gotta suck for the Utes that they couldn't pull through on a night where Stanford went down.
11. Florida Gators (@ South Carolina, W 24-14): Gonna be pretty interesting if the Gators can give Alabama a run for their money in the SEC title game. Also, I can't wait for Clemson to play South Carolina. Gonna be so much fun.
12. Oklahoma Sooners (@ #6 Baylor, W 44-34): Baker Mayfield had a very impressive game, especially in the clutch. And he has quietly become a serious Heisman contender.
13. Michigan State Spartans (vs. Maryland, W 24-7): The Spartans just have to hope that Connor Cook is okay to go against Ohio State. Because otherwise they're done.
14. Michigan Wolverines (@ Indiana, W 48-41 2OT): And here's our team that's always in the middle of wild finishes. This game was an absolute thriller.
15. TCU Horned Frogs (vs. Kansas, W 23-17): Now I know Trevone Boykin got hurt, but c'mon. Kansas hasn't won a game this year. The back up should at least be able to do something. The Frogs barely escaped.
16. Florida State Seminoles (vs. NC State, W 34-17): Dalvin Cook is still good. Other than that, I don't know.
17. Mississippi State Bulldogs (vs. #2 Alabama, L 31-6): Bama is just too good. I mean Dak Prescott threw his first interception of the year, so it's not so much on the Bulldogs here. Bama's just really good.
18. Northwestern Wildcats (vs. Purdue, W 21-14): Northwestern has to have the most boring wins week in and week out.
19. UCLA Bruins (vs. Washington State, L 31-27): Man, just when I say UCLA is looking good again, they go and lose to Wazzou at home. I don't understand this team. But, at least they have a young quarterback that has shown he can lead this team to bigger things in the future. At least I think he can. He might not.
20. Navy Midshipmen (vs. SMU, W 55-14): I hate Navy, but it's pretty cool to see a military academy in the top 25. Congrats to Keenan Reynolds on breaking the all time rushing touchdowns record as well. God I wish Army would get good at football though.
21. Memphis Tigers (@ #24 Houston, L 35-34): I don't really know how Memphis blew their huge lead, but they did. Sucks for them.
22. Temple Owls (@ South Florida, L 44-23): Well, see ya Temple.
23. North Carolina Tar Heels (vs. Miami, W 59-21): UNC is on an absolute tear and Miami is their latest victim. Didn't beat em as bad as Clemson did though so...
24. Houston Cougars (vs. #21 Memphis, W 35-34): Houston stays undefeated with the big comeback.

November 13, 2015 should have been either an illegal day, or just a national holiday. Because I don't understand how One Direction and Justin Bieber releasing albums on the same day is legal. And I don't understand how you don't just give everyone the day off to go burn down their homes while listening to this fire. Plenty of other new music to fill up another dynamite FJF, but those two are the story of the weekend.
Hey guys, guess what? There was another insane finish to a college football game this weekend. In fact there were two. Not surprised? Yeah me neither. Pretty much the standard these days. Here we go. Rankings now represent the College Football Playoff rankings now that those came out for the first time last week.
1. Clemson Tigers (vs. #16 Florida State, W 23-13): We didn't start well, but we certainly finished well. And that's what great football teams do. Dalvin Cook took the second play of the game 75 yards to the house, and after that FSU didn't touch the end zone. Dalvin Cook had something like 125 rushing yards in the first quarter. After that? About 70. And you really can't say enough about Deshaun Watson. He missed some open guys in the first half, FSU's defense looked good as well. But he stayed poised and delivered for the Tigers in the second half. Also, Wayne Gallman didn't have much room to run for most of the game, and then when Clemson needed it most, he busts out a 25 yard game-sealing TD run. Another guy who struggled most of the game, or at least in the first half, was linebacker Ben Boulware and then all of a sudden he starts making some huge plays, including a 4th and 1 stop of Dalvin Cook in the fourth quarter. All in all, it was incredible game to be at and I'm glad we finally beat FSU.
2. LSU Tigers (@ #4 Alabama, L 30-16): For the first time all year Leonard Fournette was shut down. And I know Alabama is good, but this game showed that stopping Fournette is really all you have to do to beat LSU. Obviously it's a lot easier said than done, but Bama did it, so it's possible.
3. Ohio State Buckeyes (vs. Minnesota, W 28-14): Cardale Jones was back starting in place of JT Barrett who was suspended for the game after his DUI last week. And the Bucks keep winning. Again, not a very impressive win. But they keep on winning.
4. Alabama Crimson Tide (vs. #2 LSU, W 30-16): Hey guys, that Derrick Henry fella is pretty good too.
5. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (@ Pittsburgh, W 42-30): Deshone Kizer keeps on getting better, and Clemson's win over the Irish keeps looking better and better.
6. Baylor Bears (@ Kansas State, W 31-24): Baylor's QB is out for the season, so what do they do? Plug in some freshman back up to throw for 400 yards. Still think Baylor is a fraud team. Considering they only won by 7 and all.
7. Michigan State Spartans (@ Nebraska, L 39-38): So this was one of the crazy endings of the weekend, but not the craziest. I don't know if I've ever seen a poorer call on the field than the one that gave Nebraska the game winning TD with 17 seconds left. But with that being said, there isn't an ounce of me that didn't love every second of it. MSU should have lost multiple times by now and finally they do.
8. TCU Horned Frogs (@ #14 Oklahoma State, L 49-29): None of these Big 12 schools had played anyone good yet, but for OK State to be the one to come out firing on all cylinders and knocking off TCU was pretty surprising. I thought TCU was the best team in the Big 12 to start the season but clearly they got some work to do. Now that they lost, I definitely want OK State to run the table in the conference. Oh, and Mason Rudolph and James Washington seem like a good duo...
9. Iowa Hawkeyes (@ Indiana, W 35-27): Hey guys, sorry I still know nothing about this undefeated top 10 team and I haven't seen them play all year. In due time, friends.
10. Florida Gators (vs. Vanderbilt, W 9-7): Wow. Just too much offense to wrap my head around. Can't even go any further. Next.
11. Stanford Cardinal (@ Colorado, W 42-10): Not much to say here. Stanford is solid. Colorado sucks.
12. Utah Utes (@ Washington, W 34-23): Some REALLY lame games in the Pac 12 this weekend, huh?
13. Memphis Tigers (vs. Navy, L 45-20): Keenan Reynolds is really good and he's now gotten Navy into the top 25 after the upset over Memphis. Which just means that Navy's annual thumping of Army is gonna suck even more this year. Good run Memphis had though.
14. Oklahoma State (vs. #8 TCU, W 49-29): I'm hoping OK State can keep it going. They have an unreal offense, and if their defense can even somewhat limit opposing teams like they did with TCU, then I think they have a legitimate shot at going to the playoffs. They still have Baylor and Oklahoma left, but Baylor is a bunch of frauds and OK State can definitely handle the Sooners.
15. Oklahoma Sooners (vs. Iowa State, W 52-16): Not much to say about this one. Sooners continue their routing ways. Iowa State blows.
16. Florida State Seminoles (@ #1 Clemson, L 23-13): Sean McGuire sucks, but so does Everett Golson. Golson probably woulda thrown about 5 interceptions so McGuire was the right move. But once Clemson stopped Dalvin Cook, the game was over. That's all the Noles got.
17. Michigan Wolverines (vs. Rutgers, W 49-16): With the Michigan State loss, the Wolverines are right back in the thick of things to reach the Big 10 title game. Just gotta beat Ohio State and hope Michigan State loses to Ohio State.
18. Ole Miss Rebels (vs. Arkansas, L 53-52 OT): And this was crazy ending #2. I don't even get how it happened and I certainly can't describe it so just watch.
19. Texas A&M Aggies (vs. Auburn, L 26-10): Yeah so A&M isn't good.
20. Mississippi State Bulldogs (@ Missouri, W 31-13): Good thing Mississippi State got outta Columbia before all this ridiculous Mizzou shit started going down. God that would suck to have to deal with that right now.
21. Northwestern Wildcats (vs. Penn State, W 23-21): Definitely thought Northwestern would lose this one since Penn State is pretty good this year, but it seems like the Wildcats are back on track. Good for them.
22. Temple Owls (@ SMU, W 60-40): SMU kept it close for a little while, but they suck so they lost.
23. UCLA Bruins (@ Oregon State, W 41-0): Oregon State blows, but UCLA does look like they're playing how they were at the beginning of the year. It's been an up and down season for the Bruins.
24. Toledo Rockets (vs. Northern Illinois, L 32-27): Good run Toledo, but the big boys of the MAC had to rain on your parade.
25. Houston Cougars (vs. Cincinnati, W 33-30): The Cougs stay undefeated.

Okay, so the undefeated Packers went to Denver Sunday and got emasculated by the undefeated Broncos. I thought I was gonna be able to handle a defeat, because well, I never imagined an Aaron Rodgers-led football team could be shut down like that. And so, I still got infuriated by this loss. Now, was this the worst game I've ever seen the Packers play? Perhaps. Am I worried? No. Here's why. The Broncos defense actually might be one of the best I've ever seen. I know the Packers are missing Jordy Nelson, but Randall Cobb is incredibly quick and is a great receiver himself, and Davante Adams has a ton of talent, and James Jones is a very experienced receiver and has a lot of chemistry with Rodgers. BUT, there was no where for Rodgers to go with the football on Sunday. NO WHERE. Cobb had 6 catches that all came on short crossing patterns it seemed. Now obviously the Packers played incredibly poorly. Rodgers pretty much refused to leave the pocket, even though that's when he does some of his greatest damage. And the run game didn't do much. And the defense allowed over 500 yards of offense for the second straight game. Peyton Manning may be well on his way to death, but he still can exploit inexperienced corners--who have to see more time on the field due to TWO corners going down--with the best of them. So, I know the Packers played horribly but the Broncos have an elite defense and it isn't cold enough for Peyton Manning to die yet. That combination did not bode well for Green Bay on Sunday and hopefully it's a wake up call.
Another reason that I am not worried is that the Packers are still 6-1 and if the Vikings scare any Packers fan just because they kicked a field goal to beat the Bears, then they aren't a real Packers fan. The Packers started last year 1-2, had a bad loss to the Lions, everyone freaked out, Aaron said R-E-L-A-X, people got on him about that, and then it turned into the mantra for the team as they finished at 12-4 and were one third string tight end's fuck up away from beating the Patriots again, and winning the Super Bowl. So, the Packers have already called it a humbling loss so hopefully they take that to heart, put in some good work this week and get ready to take on ANOTHER undefeated team on the road in Carolina.
And a little silver lining from this. Last year, the Patriots got humiliated by the Chiefs on national television and began the season 1-2. Trent Dilfer said Tom Brady AND the Patriots just weren't good anymore. The Patriots won the Super Bowl last year in case you didn't know. Obviously if a certain fuck would just do his job, things would be different (most likely). And so here we are this year, definitely a little bit different since the Packers are 6-1 not 1-2, but Green Bay got humiliated on national television, Trent Dilfer gave us a good little lecture on how to be a good football team, and I'd be shocked if we didn't hang 60 on the cute little Panthers this week. Now obviously, Mike McCarthy is not Bill Belichick (although McCarthy is a really good coach) and Aaron Rodgers (even though he one day may be, and is the best current QB) is not the greatest quarterback of all time, Tom Brady. BUT, in my opinion, there is no way the Packers don't come out on Sunday firing on all cylinders and show the Panthers what a real franchise looks like.
On paper, it was another week of not so great matchups. However, it was another unreal week in college football as we had a crazy ending to a game for the third straight week. Let's go.

3. Clemson Tigers (@ NC State, W 56-41): For the first time this season, our defense didn't look stellar, but I'm not worried about that. We have the best defensive coordinator in the country and he'll get them back on track. Besides Jacoby Brissett is a pretty solid quarterback. But how bout Clemson's offense again just putting up huge numbers. Over 600 yards of offense, and Deshaun Watson is really finding a groove as he put up maybe his best game as a Tiger. He's really starting to look like a top Heisman candidate, and with Wayne Gallman carrying the rock like he is, this offense is tough to stop right now. Big game this week with FSU as the Tigers try to lock up the Atlantic division and beat the Seminoles for the first time since 2011.

5. TCU Horned Frogs (vs. West Virginia, W 40-10): Whadya know! Another spectacular performance by Trevone Boykin. TCU has yet to really play anyone that great so it's tough to tell just how good they are, but if Boykin keeps playing like this, the Frogs are gonna have a real good chance of going undefeated.

8. Stanford Cardinal (@ Washington State, W 30-28): Well of course as soon as I go saying nice things about Stanford they go and win a game on a missed field goal against Washington State. And I know they aren't that bad and have a high powered offense, but you'd think Stanford could win a little more convincingly.
9. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (@ Temple, W 24-20): The Irish got all they could handle from the surprising Temple squad but they were able to get the job done late in the game. Kind of a crazy finish and it created a solid Saturday night game even though ND-Temple may not seem like such a great matchup. Not the greatest highlight package here since it's a Michael Jackson music video and 9 minutes long but the only other ones I could find were either all Temple highlights or all Notre Dame highlights, which is beyond stupid.
10. Iowa Hawkeyes (vs. Maryland 31-15): I still haven't seen Iowa play. But they're still undefeated. Chances are when I actually see them play, they'll suck and lose.
11. Florida Gators (vs. Georgia, W 27-3): So Florida seems to be doing okay without Will Grier. And Georgia seems to be falling apart without Nick Chubb. I guess that makes sense.
12. Oklahoma State Cowboys (@ Texas Tech, W 70-53): Highest scoring game of the college football season so far. Just unreal that defenses can give up this many points. Props to OK State for being down by three possessions early and saying "screw it, we'll put up 70 anyway."
13. Utah Utes (vs. Oregon State, W 27-12): Nice bounce back win for the Utes but there's a decent chance their playoff hopes are done. Let's see what they can do as we get to the latter part of the season.
14. Oklahoma Sooners (@ Kansas, W 62-7): Like I said last week, Kansas may be the worst power 5 team in the country. That being said, Oklahoma is murdering every team they play right now.
15. Michigan Wolverines (@ Minnesota, W 29-26): Another wild ending for Michigan, as they come out on top of this one at the last second.
16. Memphis Tigers (vs. Tulane, W 41-13): And Memphis stays undefeated.
17. Florida State Seminoles (vs. Syracuse, W 45-21): Have fun celebrating this great win over Cuse guys. Because in 5 days Clemson will massacre you all.
18. Houston Cougars (vs. Vanderbilt, W 34-0): Good look for the SEC, having one of its teams shut out by Houston. The Cougars stay undefeated.
19. Ole Miss Rebels (@ Auburn, W 27-19): Auburn gave Ole Miss a bit of a scare but Swag Kelly and the Rebs persevered. They still control their own destiny in the SEC West.
20. Toledo Rockets: BYE
21. Temple Owls (vs. #9 Notre Dame, L 24-20): The Owls gave the Irish all they could but just couldn't come out on top. Great effort but unfortunately for them they are no longer undefeated.
22. Duke Blue Devils (vs. Miami, L 30-27): And here is the absolutely unbelievable finish for the third straight week. Obviously there were some issues arousing from this final play with the officiating and such, but I don't care. I've never seen a lateral play actually work so this was sick.
23. Pittsburgh Panthers (vs. North Carolina, L 26-19): In what could be the deciding game for the Coastal division of the ACC, Pitt drops their first game in ACC play. UNC is 7-1 and 4-0 in conference. They could be dangerous down the stretch.
24. UCLA Bruins (vs. Colorado, W 35-31): I'm pretty sure UCLA was favored by like 20 points here, so sick game Bruins.
