source- LAS VEGAS -- Floyd Mayweather Jr. says he believes the NFL should have stuck with its original discipline of Ray Rice, saying the league was overly influenced by new video showing Rice knocking out his then-fiancee in an Atlantic City, New Jersey, casino elevator. The boxing superstar -- who has had his own domestic abuse issues -- said Tuesday that he didn't think the original two-game suspension should be changed because of the video. "I think there's a lot worse things that go on in other people's households, also," Mayweather said. "It's just not caught on video, if that's safe to say." Mayweather, who spent two months in a Las Vegas jail in 2012, still maintains his innocence even after pleading guilty to reduced domestic abuse charges stemming from an attack on his former girlfriend while their children watched. Had Mayweather not taken the plea bargain, he would have gone to trial on felony charges that could have gotten him up to 34 years in prison. Mayweather also was named in a civil lawsuit last week by his former fiancee, who said the fighter assaulted her and kept her from leaving his Las Vegas mansion.
So Floyd Mayweather is just making sure everyone knows for a fact he's the dumbest person alive by saying this, right? You think the league should have stuck with a 2 game suspension after a VIDEO of Ray Rice throwing an absolute HAYMAKER at his wife came out? Be dumber, Floyd. Oh wait, you can't. You can't even read. Beating your wife up off camera doesn't make it any better and doesn't make you any less of a scumbag, bro. I guess the only worse thing that could be going on in peoples' homes would be if they were killing each other. Knocking your girlfriend out with a punch and then spitting on her is prettttttttttty bad. The fact that Mayweather also having a history of domestic abuse makes it worse. I don't care if you think these things (you're an idiot if you do) but coming out and saying it in public when you're an A-list celebrity, seriously can't get much dumber than that.
